About the Teacher

Elliot Lee is a passionate computer programmer and enthusiast. He has completed his third year as a Computer Engineering and Computer Science major at the University of Southern California. His first computer was a home-built 486 with 16 MB RAM. At the age of 8, he published his first web page. At 17, he entered college early via USC’s Resident Honors Program, where he was awarded a Presidential Scholarship, which is half-tuition for all 4 years of his undergraduate degree. After completing his freshman year, he interned at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and helped with the development of a system to keep track of JPL’s numerous space exploration missions. Last year, he completed an internship with Google, working at their Santa Monica office as a software quality assurance engineer on Picasa Web Albums. Now 20, he looks forward to teaching and inspiring others to enter a computer science-related field in a way that the traditional school system cannot.
